Sugar Champagne Bar, located in the heart of Downtown Sarasota, FL, was envisioned as a luxe escape—where every design choice speaks to the indulgence and celebration that the world's best champagnes, wines and spirits represent. The concept centered around creating a sensual, elevated environment that pairs effortlessly with the sophistication of the menu and clientele. Rich, moody tones like deep corals, soft pinks, and bold teals form the foundation of the palette, layered with gold accents and theatrical lighting to create visual drama and warmth.

Texture plays a key role in the sensory experience at Sugar. Velvet banquettes, marble surfaces, lacquered finishes, and patterned wall coverings provide tactile richness and depth, inviting guests to linger. Layered lighting was designed to transition the space from early evening to late night, with dimmable chandeliers and sconces casting a soft, flattering glow throughout. A custom-designed bar anchors the room, finished in high-gloss lacquer and brushed brass, acting as both a functional centerpiece and a sculptural showpiece.

Custom details bring the identity of Sugar to life. From hand-crafted millwork to vintage-inspired mirror panels and bespoke furniture, every element is intentionally selected to contribute to the immersive experience. The result is a space that feels intimate yet opulent—where modern glamour meets timeless elegance. Sugar isn’t just a place to enjoy champagne; it’s a curated setting where every corner tells a story of celebration, connection, and refined indulgence.
